Northern Vermont University required a microsite that we could have more direct control over when it came to functionality and design. Using WordPress allowed me to develop the exact solution that we needed. While the main website remained in Drupal, WordPress’s new Gutenberg Editor allowed me to create custom blocks for the types of content we wanted to display. This led to a much faster and easier experience for those working on the site.

The site is fully responsive and includes accessibility features beyond just alternate text for images. The main menu is fully keyboard navigable and includes a skip to content link for convenience. Relative measurement units were also used to respect browser font preferences.
